Pounder Hall
Pounder Hall offers retirement living in a secure and safe country setting with city advantages. Independent Living apartments are comprised of single, studio and two room accommodations, each with a private bath. As a resident, you can decorate your private room to reflect your own sense of style. Our tenants live together in an atmosphere of contentment each enjoying individual independence. Our staff tends to the many daily tasks that would otherwise interfere with your fullness of life.
If you are able to care for yourself and your medical history does not necessitate nurses, only limited services, such as meals and light housekeeping, you may wish to consider Independent Living at Pounder Hall. Independent Living provides the freedom of action that is yours to enjoy.
For those who may need more assistance in their everyday activities, Housing is also available on the first floor of Pounder Hall. This program provides 24-hour personal care aides under the supervision of a licensed practical nurse.
Our amenities include a large sunny solarium, a covered outdoor deck and a library for quiet moments as well as a lounge on each floor for comfortable social gatherings. A fully equipped kitchen is also available on each floor which may be used by the tenants for preparing light meals. Although no provision is provided for cooking in the apartments, a refrigerator has been placed in each apartment for light foods and snacks. For our tenants' convenience, our large dining room offers three meals a day.
Pounder Hall rent includes: heat, electricity, air conditioning, water, security, ample vehicle parking for you and your guests, planned activities, social events, emergency response, Wi-Fi and individual locked mailboxes. There is a beauty shop on site as well as a fully equipped laundry room. In addition, if you need to get to your doctor's office, transportation is available. Guest rooms are also available for rental to tenants' visitors.
When you are ready for some enjoyment, there are daily activities you may wish to participate in including theme parties, painting classes, bingo, watching a movie, or simply being entertained by a visiting entertainer. We also offer lunch and dinner outings and group transportation to community events.
Admission to Pounder Hall is open to the public with preference given to Eastern Star members and Masonic members.
